Bengaluru, Mar 13: In order to enhance the existing education-related infrastructure in Karnataka, Real estate giant Embassy Group has decided to join hands with the state government.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Education Department and Embassy Group has been signed for the next two years under which, the corporate firm will provide assistance to 16 government schools. The Embassy Group will also provide teaching and learning resources such as notebooks, stationery, school bags, shoes and uniforms to each child.
On this occasion, SR Umashankar Principal Secretary Primary and Secondary Education Department and Jitu Virwani Managing Director of Embassy Group were present. Applauding the initiative, senior official SR Umashankar said that the social venture of Embassy Group will inspire other corporate houses. He further added that the education department in association with Embassy Group will work hard in improving the academic skills of the students.
