March 2: With all Indian’s celebrating the return of our lionhearted Wing Commander Abhinandan Vardhaman who was captured by Pakistan after he had gunned down Pakistan's F16, social media is being flooded with more and more creative posts for his welcome.

In this commemoration, India also jumped with an innovative idea to honour the hero. BCCI posted a jersey with Abhinandan’s name on it on their official twitter handle.

Many cricketers and other sportspersons also tweeted from their respective handles warmly welcoming Commander Abhinandan.

Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt shared their tributes to the nation’s hero and treated his celebratory return to Indian soil.

Twitter was observed to be full of posts with hashtags #WelcomeHomeAbhinandan with Indians who could not be there on Attari Border to receive Abhinandan, welcoming him via social media.
