TMC highlights its inclination towards ‘murdercracy’ again; BJP activist son found dead in Purulia

Purulia, April 18: With the election polling intensifying and the political parties trying to woo the voters in cast their votes, something is really missing in the state of West Bengal. And it’s nothing but democracy..! The right to vote, speak against the government if things don’t work as promised, the hooligans of Trinamool Congress spare no one.

 

In yet another horrifying incident, a Bharatiya Janata Party activist’s son was found hanging from a tree on Thursday morning in the Arsha block of West Bengal’s Purulia district. The person was indentified as Sishupal Singh, 22, who had been missing since Wednesday.

The district Superintendent of Police Akash Magharia informed, “A missing complaint was filed by Singh’s family members Wednesday evening. He was spotted hanging from a tree on the outskirts of Senabona village around 9 am by the locals, who then reported the matter to the police station.”

Violence has been a key tool of left parties including Trinamool Congress, CPI (M) and others. To win the elections and keep themselves in power, they use political murders and riots as their primary agenda. Stooping down so low for left parties is very common but killing young futures of the country is a gruesome act and not at all justifiable.

The BJP and the current ruling party Trinamool Congress have clashed regularly in the district since violence during the panchayat elections last year. It was in June, the state Crime Investigation Department arrested a man from Purulia in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Trilochan Mahato, who the BJP claimed was its member. A message scrawled on Mahato’s T-shirt said he had been murdered for working for the saffron party. The BJP claimed it was a political murder linked to the civic body elections.

In September, the Supreme Court directed the state government to file a report within two weeks on the investigation into the alleged killing of three BJP workers.
