New Delhi, June 26: “Blaming the whole state for one incident was not right,” says PM Narendra Modi while speaking in Rajya Sabha. Also, he condemned the incident of mob lynching of a man in Jharkhand. "Death of youth in mob lynching is sad, culprits will be punished but blaming entire Jharkhand for it is not right." PM Modi said and added that he was saddened to see the Opposition maligning a single state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked, "Jharkhand mob lynching is saddening but why to blame an entire state? Violence whether in Jharkhand, West Bengal or Kerala should be dealt with equally"

"We have no right to defame the whole of Jharkhand. Isolate the criminals and take action. Law and judiciary are completely competent. For that, we will do whatever necessary and won't back down," he added.

Also, Prime Minister Modi said the law will take its own course. "Letting the law take its own course is the only way to teach a lesson to those behind this."

Prime Minister Modi added that the country should stand united when it comes to fighting such acts. "Sabka Saath, sabka vikaas and sabka vishwaas should be our mantra," Narendra Modi said.
