Situation along border is under control, assures Lt Gen Ranbir Singh asserting Indian Army foiled all attempts of Pakistan

New Delhi, August 16: Despite of the various instances of losing in all aspects from India, Pakistan still hopes to win as they continue firing at the Line of Control (LoC) as they are retaliated strong by the Indian Army. India on the other hand has warned Pakistan to face dire consequences if the Pakistan Army tries to invade, infiltrate or has unprovoked ceasefire violation at the border.

The ceasefire violations from the Pakistani side began on the day when India commemorated its 73rd Independence Day. The Indian Army retaliated befittingly to the unproved firing by the Pakistani troops. New Delhi has repeatedly urged Pakistan to "respect" the 2003 ceasefire arrangement between the two countries, but Pakistan deliberately tries to create grave for their own army.

 

Speaking about the ceasefire violation provoked through Pakistan side, Lt Gen Ranbir Singh assured that the situation along the border is under control. Adding further he said that in the past few days, Pakistan has been trying to infiltrate people through the Line of Control and have been supported by ceasefire violations. However, the Indian Army has been very vigilant and alert and all the attempts of infiltration has been foiled by Army.

Although Pakistan has been attempting to infiltrate terrorists in the country but India’s counter terrorism motto has been strong and the attempts for the same has been foiled as Indian Army has been retaliating strongly. The situation is under control and the counter terrorism motto of India is acting strongly and aggressively within the country and also along the border.

On Thursday, the Indian Army said three Pakistani soldiers were killed in the retaliatory action to the unprovocative firing from across the border. The Pakistan Army violated ceasefire in Uri and Rajouri sectors on the same day. Indian Army has refuted claims made by Pakistan that five Indian soldiers were killed in the ceasefire violations along the Line of Control.
