Exposing Imran Khan, Uyghur leader terms Pakistan as biggest violators of human rights and China hides reality internationally

Geneva, September 16: Desperately attempting to portray himself as an ambassador of Kashmiri people, Pakistan Prime Minister has come under fire for his ‘hypocrite’ and ‘double standards’ attitude as he royally ignores the issue of Uighur Muslims being treated in China. The President of Uyghur Congress, Dolkun Isa, however exposed Imran Khan stating that Pakistan is one of the biggest violators of human rights and China is hiding the reality internationally.

 

Pakistan has been talking about the Kashmir issue at length at every platform. In an exclusive interview to a media channel that was aired on August 14, Imran Khan talked in length about his version of conditions of Kashmiris and how BJP led government is "racist" and "fascist" while shockingly expressing complete ignorance on the issues being faced by Uighur Muslims.

Speaking to the media, Dolkun Isa, President of Uyghur Congress said, “Pakistan PM very well knows what Chinese Government is doing to Uyghur Muslims, but he doesn't want to talk on this. Pakistan is one of the biggest violators of human rights and China is hiding the reality internationally. Pakistan Prime Minister brings up the Kashmir issue all the time but when it comes to the Uyghurs he closes his eyes and supports China's policy, this is a double standard, it is a shame.”

However, when Imran Khan was asked whether he had ever got a chance to discuss the issue of Uighur Muslims with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Khan replied that he does not know "much" about the problem and Beijing is Islamabad's "best friend". China has been condemned internationally for cracking down on the minorities living in their countries. China has been accused of oppressing the Uighur by sending them to mass detention camps, interfering in their religious activities and sending the community to undergo some form of forceful re-education or indoctrination.

Netizens did not miss the opportunity to highlight Imran Khan "hypocrisy" and chided him for being "selective in choosing the Muslim brethren".

Ever since India took a stand to revoke Article 370, Pakistan has been speaking about the illusionary atrocities on Kashmiri people. Taking the issue to United Nations, the international body also advised Pakistan to resolve the issue bilaterally through talks.
