New Delhi, September 18: You think you can skip well? Not as quick as this record breaking team of 12 Japanese elementary school kids. Exmplifying their rope-skipping capability, a 12 little munchkin membered the E-Jump Fuji group in Japan has moved up breaking the world record for skipping unbelievably smooth like a clockwork, 230 times within 60 seconds!
These fast spinning skippers hopped five minutes faster than the elementary school students in the same area who previously held this record as seen the video. Some of the students from the earlier record holding team were also present in this attemp.
"The attempt was made during a rope-skipping lesson", Naoyuki Nishizawa, chairman of the Fuji Municipal Rope Skipping Association said adding that fast skipping in a figure of eight is E-Jump Fuji's specialty.
Japan produces some of the best rope skipping records, being Sadatoshi Watanabe who has two Guinness World Records titles that are related to rope skipping over a 10 m rope in 30 seconds and using one foot, and a Double Dutch team Diana skips in 30 seconds.
