Blooming happiness in Houston for scrapping 370! Kashmiri Pandits thank PM Modi for taking bold decision

Houston, September 22: Right after arriving in Houston, Prime Minister Narendra Modi straight away started his engagements without having a little rest. He met and interacted with a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits in Houston. During the interaction, Kashmiri Pandits lauded PM Modi for scrapping Article 370, which granted special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, and thanked him for taking a bold decision. The happiness seen on the faces of the Pandits was enormous.

While interacting, as affection, a Kashmir pandit went on to kiss PM Modi’s hands and thanked him on behalf of 7 lakh Kashmiri Pandits. For his part, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to Kashmiri Pandits for supporting the steps that have been taken by his government.

In his tweet, PM Modi said, "In Houston, a delegation of the Kashmiri Pandit community met the Prime Minister. They unequivocally supported the steps being taken for the progress of India and empowerment of every Indian."

Also, connecting via chords of culture, PM Modi joined the delegation in reciting 'Namaste Sharade Devi' shloka.
