Pulwama, September 23: Snapping those who questioned the Central government despite lifting up restrictions on certain facilities, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has set up an internet facility at the deputy commissioner office in Pulwama and Shopian. The decision was taken in the view to stop inconvenience for the students faced during the restriction time.

The students crowded the internet facilitation centre to fill their examination forms and entrance forms for exams like UGC-NET, GATE and Mains-IIT. The students can also check their results too from the centre.

Jammu and Kashmir are under restrictions after the government announced its decision on Article 370. Rajya Sabha on August 5 cleared the resolution to scrap Article 370 with two-thirds majority, along with another Bill to bifurcate the state of Jammu and Kashmir to two union territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Additional deputy commissioner Muhammad Ashraf Hakkak said, “Our office has provided internet facility for students so that they can fill their admission forms and exam forms or download their admit cards so that their precious time is not lost.”

Students who were present at the centre praised the administration's move. Thanking the government for taking up this initiative the youth commended centre’s decision of availing internet services for filing forms for exams. The students can comfortably fill their examinations forms or check results.
