Lucknow, September 24: Several important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today. 20 proposals were approved in this meeting. These include a proposal to bring all the Directorate of Basic Education under one umbrella. Also, according to the decision taken in the cabinet, the government will no longer pay the ministers' income tax. The minister himself will have to take up this responsibility.
These decisions were taken under the chairmanship of CM Yogi at Lok Bhavan. The meeting approved the proposal to suspend Rajiv Kumar Yadav, who was serving as Deputy Director Employment, in the matter of indiscipline. With this, the proposal to bring all the Directorate of Basic Education Department under one umbrella was also approved. All the directors will now be under the Director-General.
In order to ensure mutual coordination administrative and financial control between all the Directorates under the Department of Basic Education, the proposal for prescribing the rights and duties by creating the post of Director General School Education DGSE was approved. It was proposed to create the post of Director General School of Education (DGSE). On which an officer from the Special Secretary of the Indian Administrative Service will be posted to the level of an officer or equivalent to the State Project Director of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
