Patna, January 1: The state government has taken several decisions to make Rajgir distance from the capital Patna in a short time. Under this, the approval of the 22.17 km long ten-meter wide road between Noorsarai to Silav under the Bihrasharif Path Division was given in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday. For this, the administrative sanction of 236 crores 65 lakh was also given. This road will pass outside the settlement. There will be no problem with jam anywhere. In some places, the underpass will also be built. This will make it easier to go to Rajgir from Patna.

After the cabinet meeting, Principal Secretary of the Road Construction Department, Amrit Lal Meena said that another road is proposed to be constructed from Patna to Rajgir, which will be built between Karouta to Salepur. After its completion, the distance from Patna to Rajgir will be 85 kilometers. The journey from Patna Airport to Rajgir in 75 minutes can be done via road. Currently, this distance is about 100 kilometers.

R Block-Digha Road will be connected to Ganga Path. For this, the Cabinet approved 69 crores 56 lakhs for R Block-Digha Road Phase-2. Digha Road is being constructed from R Block under Phase One, which will be ready before August 15, 2020. Under Phase-2, a 1.3 km road will be built to connect Digha to the Ganga path. This road will be ready in six months. For this, the land will also be taken from FCI, for which he will be paid Rs 22 crore. The remaining amount will create a 1.3-km road, with a flyover and underpass. Principal Secretary of Road Construction Department Amrit Lal Meena said that after the formation of the Or Block Phase-1 and Phase-2, it will be very easy to go to JP Block and Gandhi Setu from R Block. Also, it will be very convenient to go to Ashok Raj Path.

The state government has approved Rs 19 crore 40 lakh for spending on the human chain to be built on January 19. This amount will be withdrawn from Bihar Contingency Fund. It may be noted that a human chain is to be formed for the elimination of water-life-greenery, de-addiction, dowry and force-marriage. The Bihar High Justice Service (Amendment) Rules 2019 has been approved by the Cabinet. A total of 21 proposals were approved.

The decision to sack 16 doctors was taken at the state cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. All these doctors were posted in different districts and were absent for eight to 20 years. In the last 12 days, the state government has sacked 52 such doctors. Those who were dismissed on Tuesday include Dr. Akram Rizvi and Dr. Subodh Kumar working in Araria, Dr. Uday Shankar Srivastava of Samastipur, Dr. Asha Kumari and Dr. Umesh Kumar of Begusarai, Dr. Dinanath Singh of Madhubani and Dr. Raghavesh Prasad, Dr. Ashok Kumar of Bhojpur, Dr. Krishna Prasad of Supaul, Dr. Raju Agarwal of Siwan, Dr. Ajit Kumar of Katihar, Dr. Vijay Kumar of Purnia, Dr. Rakhi Singh of Gopalganj, Dr. of Saran Dr. Ramesh Mishra of Juwait Salfi and Buxar.
