The fight in Georgia is too close to call, with Donald Trump marginally ahead by only 2,500 votes. Georgia, with 16 electoral votes, is a must-win state for Trump if he wants the second term. Both Trump and Biden have won 49.4 percent of the vote. Taking about Pennsylvania, Biden is giving nail-biting compitition to Trump. At present, Trump has 49.6 per cent of the vote (32,85,239) while Biden has 49.2 per cent (32,62,850).

Moreover, Trump has taken a lead with 2% in North Carolina which has 15 electoral votes.
Furthermore, Alaska may be the last state to declare its results as officials there won't begin counting mail-in-ballots or early in-person votes for another week. However, the state usually votes Republican, and Trump is expected to win it easily. At present, only 50 percent of the votes have been counted in Alaska, which has 3 electoral votes. Trump leads by 62 percent (1,18,602), while Biden has 33.5 percent of the vote (63,992).

The former Vice-President raked in a massive amount of votes throughout the day and night on Thursday, reducing Trump’s lead dramatically. The highlight of the Democrat’s campaign was the way he flipped Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona.

Meanwhile, a Georgia judge dismissed the Trump campaign’s lawsuit to stop the counting of the mail-in ballots, dealing another blow to the Republicans. Judge James Bass, a superior court judge in Georgia, said there was "no evidence" that the ballots in question were invalid. . The suit had raised concerns about 53 absentee ballots that poll observers said were not part of an original batch of ballots. County elections officials testified that all 53 ballots had been received on time.

However, an official overseeing election in the US state of Georgia has pointed out shocking inefficiencies in the presidential election, like a memory card on an election machine failing, ballots that didn't get uploaded to the system, and the postal ballots printed on papers that could not be scanned for counting.

One of the polling place scanners in Taylor County had "a corrupt memory card", Gabriel Sterling, the Georgia state voting system manager, said on Thursday.

As of now, Trump has won Iowa, Montana, Ohio, Florida, Texas, however, his Democratic rival has bagged Minnesota, Maine, Delaware, California, and New York, as well as the US capital.
