Choreographer-Director Remo D’Souza Suffers Heart Attack, In ICU

Mumbai, December 12: National Award-winning Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Remo D'Souza suffered a heart attack on Friday and is currently hospitalized in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai.

Remo underwent angioplasty surgery and is reportedly stable. "On Friday morning Remo was admitted at the Kokilaben Hospital following some heart issue. There were some blockages due to which an Angioplasty was performed by the doctors. Now he is doing fine according to the doctors. We are here, he is my family friend and we assure you that please do not worry, everything is under control," Remo's friend Mahesh Kukreja said.
 
He has been one of the judges of dance reality shows such as Dance India Dance, Dance Plus, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Remo D'Souza has won several awards for choreographing several hit songs like Disco Deewane, Badtameez Dil, Balam Pichkari, and Deewani Mastani from Bajirao Mastani. He is also known for directing films like Street Dancer 3D, ABCD, ABCD 2, and A Flying Jatt among others.
