Standing with Humanity; Cinema stars come forward give monetary hand to underprivileged and daily wage-earners

As the coronavirus outbreak has been creating havoc all around India, the Indian film Industry has come forward to help the underprivileged people and daily wage-earners who have been more affected after PM Narendra Modi imposed a 21-day lockdown in the country in wake of the spread of the pandemic.

Celebrities are taking the initiative called "I Stand With Humanity" to help the daily wage-earners who have seen a reduction in their source of income due to the lockdown. The initiative started by organizations like the International Association for Human Values, the Art of Living Foundation and the Indian Film and TV Industry, which will provide families of daily wage workers with 10 days of essential food supplies. From legendary actors like Rajinikanth to promising actress Bhumi Pednakar has taken this initiative and urged people to help them.
 
Superstar Rajinikanth was the first celebrity who led initiative and donate Rs. 50 lakhs to help them.
 
On Wednesday, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan announced he had contributed Rs. 2 crores to the Relief Funds of the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support the fight against the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). He donated Rs 50 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Funds and Rs 1 crore to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
 
Following his uncle's steps, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan also joined him and has donated Rs. 70 lakhs to Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund and Telangana CM Relief Fund.
 
 
On Thursday, Bahubali actor Prabhas pledged of Rs 3 crore to the Prime Minister's relief fund and Rs 50 lakhs each to CM's relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
 
Meanwhile, in Bollywood, Ayushmann who took the initiative tweeted, “This is a truly noble initiative. I vow to support this & contribute. India & Indians are under threat & each one of us has the power to make a difference. Let's support and care for each other as much as we can in this time of crisis.”
 
 
Taapsee Pannu, also, on the hand urged the people to come forward to help the daily wage workers.
 
 
While the comedy king Kapil has contributed the sum of Rs 50 lakh to the Prime Minister Relief Fund to help fight coronavirus in the country."It's time to stand together with the ones who need us. Contributing Rs 50 lakhs to the PM relief fund towards the #fightagainstcorona. Request everyone to #stayhome #staysafe #jaihind #PMrelieffund @narendramodi," he wrote. 
 
 
The Kapil Sharma Show host also requested his fans to donate some amount. He has provided a link where people can donate a bag of ration worth Rs. 1000.  
 
 
 
Veteran actors Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff also said that the wholeheartedly support the initiative. Kiara Advani, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bhumi Pednekar also pledged their support.
