Uplifting spirit during Corona crisis, this is how Hyderabad Police Commissioner wished birthday and anniversary to fellow officers!

Hyderabad, April 10: With all the tragic things going around the world as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, there are several silver linings occurring in this crisis. One of them happened with the Hyderabad City Police. On Thursday, the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar conducted a video conference with 4,000 police personnel, where he greeted some of his fellow officers with birthday and anniversary wishes.

Kumar had held the interactive session with the police personnel for two hours in which he was concerned about his officers. He asked and also gave suggestions about their physical, mental and emotional health.
 
However, while having the interaction, the Police Commissioner celebrated the birthday of two constables of Charminar Police Station and the marriage anniversary of a constable of Santosh Nagar Police Station. The video conference which was attended by 4,000 police officers clapped to wish them for their birthday and anniversary along with encouraging them to celebrate their special days.
 
This might be an initiative that was taken for the first time in the history of Hyderabad Police. The police officers were highly touched with such an initiative from the Police Commissioner which eventually boosted the morale to work for the countrymen while their own lives to contain the deadly virus.
 
The police commissioner is also known for his noble gesture. He personally meets at least 50 constables on road between 12:30 am to 1 am every night and distributes food items to the hardworking cops and their families.
On Wednesday, the commissioner felicitated the doctors of the Government Hospital King Koti to acknowledge their service and hard work in the fight against the virus.
 
On the other hand, the Hyderabad police have reached out to two Manipur students who were denied entry at a Hyderabad supermarket this week based because of their appearance, giving them food supplies and promising help in any emergency.
