Giving the Mantra of life to everybody!

What could have been conventional but to make people aware of its once upon a time 'Sone ki Chidiya' India! PM Modi on Tuesday declared a 'Atma Nirbhar' economic package. "Rs 20 lakhs in 2020", he noted lauding all those honest taxpayers. "The package would benefit the Shramiks, MSME businesses and industries", he said adding that FinMin Nirmala Sitharamn would give all the details by Wednesday.

 

While this package is for that worker of the country, farmer of the country, it is also for the middle class of our country, who pays tax honestly, contributes to the development of the country as specifically noted by PM. Ahead of the Finance Miniter Nirmala Sitharaman giving the pin details of the '20 lakh cr in 2020' package that would make India economically independent, PM slated the 5 pillars of self reliant India being economy, infrastucture, system, democracy and demand.

 

 

This package is about 10 percent of India's GDP and with this various sections of the country and those linked to economic system will get support and strength of Rs 20 lakh crore. It is slated to give a new impetus to the development journey of the country in 2020 and a new direction to the Self-reliant India campaign. In order to prove the resolve of a self-reliant India, the Prime Minister has also emphasized over Land, Labor, Liquidity and Laws in this package.

 

Referring to the demand portion in specific, PM Modi further said that the local products have helped us fulfil our demands in the midst of corona. So why not be 'Vocal for Local' now? He said, we as Indians must not only use local products but also promote its use proudly. "When India speaks of self-reliance, it does not advocate for a self-centered system. In India's self-reliance there is a concern for the whole world's happiness, cooperation & peace", he said.

 

India does not advocate self-centric arrangements when it comes to self-reliance. India's self-reliance is ingrained in the happiness, cooperation and peace of the world. This is the culture which believes in the welfare of the world, for all the living creatures and the one which considers the whole world as a family. Its premise is 'माता भूमिः पुत्रो अहम् पृथिव्यः' - the culture that considers the earth to be the mother. And when the Bharat Bhumi, becomes self-sufficient, it ensures the possibility of a prosperous world. India's progress has always been integral to the progress of the world.

 

India has been striving to promote Make in India and the spread of coronavirus is a blessing in disguise. It is this time that the citizens are realising the worth of local, Made in India products, those being the ones who came to rescue in the difficult times. With abundant resources, superior technology and raw materials, India can soon become self-reliant in all sectors.

 

Local is not just the need, it is our responsibility as PM Modi noted. Time has taught us that we must make the Local as a mantra of our life. The Global Brands we feel today were sometimes local too. But when people started using them, started promoting them, branding them, proud of them, they became Global from Local Products. Prime Minister also envisioned India as a super economic power in global economy. Taking the economic slowdown due to COVID-19 pandemic as a blessing, why not strive to maintain positivity and self confidence to take the country ahead? The nation is definitely gonna remember this gesture of the Prime Minister for a very long time.
