New Delhi, July 28: Making a revealing statement that would cause tremors in the intellectual arena, former CBI Chief and a serving IPS officer M Nageswara Rao claimed that the bloody Islamic invasions and subsequent rule in India were whitewashed to distort the Indian history by none other than the first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and the Leftist historians who were patronized by the system under the Congress rule.

The officer made this claim in a recent tweet on Saturday that said that the Indian history was ‘distorted’ with the ‘whitewashing’ of the ‘bloody Islamic invasions/rule’. He named the earlier education ministers who were in charge of the ‘Indian mind space’ for 20 ‘out of 30 years from 1947 to 1977’.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad remained the first Union Education Minister (now HRD) from 1947 to 1958 followed by Humayun Kabir, M C Chhagla, and Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed and Nurul Hasan (all served till 1977). This was followed by the known leftist VKRV Rao heading the Education Ministry for the next ten years. For a brief stint, Dr. Triguna Sen was the Union Education Minister from 1967 to 69.

Rao posted four slides in his tweet projecting the “Story of Project Abrahamization of Hindu Civilization”. He mentioned six points to drive his point home. They are:

1. Deny Hindus their knowledge

2. Vilify Hinduism as a collection of superstitions

3. Abrahamize Education

4. Abrahamize media and entertainment

5. Shame Hindus bout their identity, and

6. Bereft of glue of Hinduism Hindu society dies.

M. Nageswara Rao is currently Director-General of Home Guards, Fire Services and Civil Defence and is due to retire on July 31. He tweeted again on Sunday raising questions about our adherence to our national motto “Satyamev Jayate” i.e. Truth Alone Triumphs. And answers in a big ‘NO’. He said that on the contrary, we go on telling blatant lies in the name of political correctness, which we learn early in our education that teaches us a bundle of lies. No wonder that we are a nation of hypocrites and not Triumphers.

Rao was appointed as interim Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on October 23, 2018, as there was a tussle of differences between the then Director Alok Verma and his deputy Rakesh Asthana. He is serving as DG Home Guards, Fire Services and Civil Defence from July 2019.

Out of the fur slides that Rao posted on Saturday the first carries the title “1st phase of Deracination of Hindus” giving the timeline of Union Education Ministers.

Maulana Azad remained the first Education Minister from 1947 till his death in 1958 and Humayun Kabir succeeded him in that year. M C Chhagla, who later became the Chief Justice, remained to the post between 1963 and 1966. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, who became the President and signed the Emergency Decree on the June midnight of June 26, 1975, succeeded Chhagla followed by Saiyid Nurul Hassan between 1971 and 1977.

V K R V Rao was a noted economist from Tamil Nadu who played a key role in establishing the Indian Council of Social Science Research and went on to become Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, Planning Commission member and Education Minister between 1969 and 1971.

The former CBI Director alleged that these were the men who engaged in “industrial-scale distortion of history, negation, and whitewashing of the bloody Islamic invasion/rule. He claimed that roads and public places in Delhi were named after the “invaders” and there was no mention of the Pandavas and Sri Krishna who were the original builders of Delhi.

He further alleged that the system patronized the pro-left academics and sidelined the pro-Hindu nationalist scholars. The opening of the gates of the Ramjanmabhumi and telecast of television serials like ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Lav Kush’ reawakened the Hindu spirit, Rao said.

He generously gave credit for consolidating this reawakened Hindu society and the subsequent phenomenal growth of the BJP from just 2 MPs in 1982 to 85 in 1989 and 120 in 1991.

However, in the 1990s the second phase of what Rao calls ‘Deracination of Hindus’ started. The anti-Hindu lobby after understanding the process of re-Hinduization of the 1980s and its consequences launched an intensive and extensive de-Hinduization of every aspect of public education and instruction, Rao claims in his post.

“It began with “Abrahamization of the NCERT syllabi”, claims Rao stating that the lessons on “The Central Islamic Lands”, “Islamic Traditions” and Mughal Courts” were inserted to achieve this target, he said adding that this was followed in the field of art and cinema also.

“Cinemas have gone a step ahead by Christo-Islamization – one hardly finds Hindu imagery nowadays but Christo-Islamic imagery is in abundance both in lyrics and visuals even though the plot and characters are Hindu,” it said.

In his article in The Organiser, published in January, Rao demanded a complete ban on foreign funding for NGOs working in India.
