Ayodhya, August 5: Ayodhya is all ready for the foundation-laying ceremony for the Ram temple. Ayodhya has donned a new look to start a new chapter in its long history. On this occasion, Sri Ramjanmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has invited only 175 guests or the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The invitation list has been prepared only after "personally discussing" with BJP veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, lawyer K Parasaran and other dignitaries, the trust's general secretary, Champat Rai said. Every invitation card for the 'Bhoomi Pujan' ceremony has a security code that will not allow re-entry to any invitee, said Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra general secretary Champat Rai.
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the high-profile dignitaries who will be present at the ground-breaking ceremony who has arrived here to lay the foundation stone for Ram Mandir. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel and BJP vice president Uma Bharti have already arrived since half an hour ago.
 
Apart from Prime Minister Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will is one of the the main guests during the Bhoomi pujan. Apart from them, 175 eminent guests include, 135 Sadhus and saints, have also invited for this ceremony. This 135 Sadhus also includes saints from Nepal who have also been invited.
 
Meanwhile, the first invite has been sent to Iqbal Ansari, one of the Muslim litigants of Ayodhya Ram Mandir's case. They also invited Padma Shri recipient Mohammad Sharif, who cremated over 10,000 unclaimed bodies. The trust has also invited Purnima Kothari, the sister of two brothers from Kolkata who were kar sevaks, or Hindu religious volunteers, and died in police firing in Ayodhya on October 30, 1990
 
The list also includes the MLA Lallu Singh, BJP National President JP Nadda, Deputy CM’s of UP Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya, BJP leader Vinay Katiyar, UP Cabinet Ministers Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan Singh and Suresh Khanna, Narendra Giri of Akhada Parishad, Pawan Singh from Ashok Singhal’s family who is a VHP leader, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Yoga Guru Ramdev, Vinay Pandey HoD of NHU Jyotish Department.
 
Apart from them, the chairperson of the Sunni Waqf board from Lucknow, Jathedars, or Sikh priests, and other religious heads have also been invited to the Bhoomi pujan in Ayodhya. The trust also invited family members of local kar sevaks in Ayodhya who died in the firing.
 
The Bhumi Poojan ceremony will start at 12.30 PM and culminate at 12.45 PM. The event marks the beginning of the construction of a grand Ram temple in the temple town.
