She said, "I am indebted to Amit Shah, who could have also asked me to visit Mumbai later considering the present situation, but he honored the words of the daughter of this country. Jai Hind."

This comes after Kangana and Himachal Pradesh Government had appealed to the central government for security to the actress against the backdrop of the recent verbal threats that she had received from the Maharashtra government and Shiv Sena. The Centre has accepted this request and has decided to provide Y-grade security to the actor.

"Our government is committed to protecting Himachal's daughter and Bollywood actress her security is the prime priority of the state Government as she has brought laurels to the state by delivering a string of great performances in the Hindi cinema," Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh Jai Ram Thakur said. He further added that her father has written to me, expressing his concerns over her security. I have informed my DGP, to assess the threat & take appropriate action.

Moreover, the state police team has been deployed outside actor #KanganaRanaut's residence, in Manali. The Y category is the third-level of security offered in the country. The VIPs who come under this security cover are provided with 11 security personnel, including one or two commandos. The ‘Y’ category encompasses two personal security officers (PSOs) and one PSO from the ‘X’ category.

The war-of-words broke starts after Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut last week threatened her by asking the actress not to travel back to Mumbai after she said that she was scared of the Mumbai police more than she feared the movie mafia goons adding that why Mumbai was feeling like 'Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.' After that Shiv Sena continuing its attack on Kangana called her a 'mental woman' in its mouthpiece Saamana. He also called her haramkhor on national television.

After that the actress said, "Sanjay Raut Ji, you called me 'haramkhor.' It shows your mindset...If I criticize Mumbai Police or if I criticize you, then you can't say I am insulting Maharashtra. You aren't Maharashtra. Your people are threatening me, still, I'll come to Mumbai on Sept 9."

Not only Raut but Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh also said that Kangana had 'no right to live in Mumbai' after her comments against the Mumbai Police. Moreover, Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik also threatened Kangana that if she comes to Mumbai in the future and anything happens to her then Shiv Sena 'will not be responsible.' He even threatened to slap sedition charges on Kangana.

It is also be noted that Kangana has been targeting several big Bollywood celebrities for fanning nepotism and recently in the drug conspiracy related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput case.
