Get ready to witness the battle of Pawankhind! Makers releases teaser of Pawankhind; to be hit box office on this date

After Farzand and Fatteshikast, the Almond production house has come up with another masterpiece to tell the story of the valour of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Today, the production team and director Digpal Lanjekar have released the teaser of the upcoming movie "Pawankhind' on the social media platform.

 

The Pawankhind is based upon the Battel of the Pawankhind that enabled Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s escape from the Panhala fort. Pawankhind will unfold the tale of one of the most gallant and courageous Maratha warriors of all time, Baji Prabhu Deshpande, who sacrificed his life for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

 

The teaser opens with energetic music and dramatic dialogue. The teaser has power-packed action and gives a sneak-peek into the unprecedented fights given by Baji Prabhu Deshpande, Bandal Sena, and Savalas.

 

 

 

The Battel of Pawankhind took place on July 13 July 1660, at a mountain pass in close proximity to the fort of Vishalgadh, near the modern-day Kolhapur. It was fought between 300 Maratha soldiers led by Bajiprabhu Deshpande and 12000 Adilshahi soldiers led by Siddhi Masood on 13th, 1660 AD.

 

Apart from the teaser the makers also unveiled that the film is all set to hit theatres on January 21, 2022. 'Pawankhind', the film written and directed by Digpal Lanjekar. It stars Mrinal Kulkarni, Chinmay Mandlekar, Prajakta Mali, Ankit Mohan, kshitee jog, Ajay Purkar, Sameer Dharmadhikari and Shivraj Waichal in pivotal role.
