It seems like 'Bure Din' has started for the Congress as, after Punjab and Goa, the party has now too started facing a crisis in Uttarakhand where elections are due in a couple of months. On Wednesday, Congress party leader, Harish Rawat posted cryptic messages on Twitter, hinting at growing dissatisfaction with the top Congress leader and a possible exit from his party.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the senior leader expressed strong displeasure and unhappiness over the state of affairs in the party and sought "guidance from Lord Kedarnath. In remarks that appear to be directed against the Congress leadership, Harish Rawat said "the representatives of the leaders on whose directions I have to swim in the sea of elections are tying my hands and legs."

"Isn't it a strange thing? Have to swim across the sea of the electoral battle, but the organisational structure instead of lending a helping hand is obstructing and playing a negative role at most places," Rawat tweeted.

Referring to detractors as "crocodiles in the sea", Harish Rawat hints at a possible retirement from politics. "Now, a feeling often comes to my mind. Have had enough of politics. It is time to take a rest!" he said in another tweet.

Following Rawat's cryptic tweets, the Congress has summoned former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat and Congress Legislature Party leader Pritam Singh to Delhi to pacify the situation.
