Taking a social media wall, CM Kejriwal tweeted they are very grateful to the Centre for increasing Delhi’s Oxygen quota. "Central government has increased Delhi's quota of oxygen. We are very grateful to the center for this."

Central Government has reportedly increased Delhi's oxygen quota from 378 MT to 500 MT after Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia urged the central government to do so amid the shortage of oxygen.

The Centre has announced that it will supply 480 metric tonnes of oxygen to Delhi, which will come from Odisha, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh, the state government said in a statement. The centre has roped in the Indian Air Force to airlift oxygen cylinders, regulators, and essential medicines. The IAF airlifted oxygen containers of DRDO from Bengaluru for Covid centers at Delhi.

It should be noted that Delhi does not have its source of oxygen, and that reason the capital's supply comes from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
