RSS provides food over phone to COVID patients, family in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh, April 29: Under the aegis of Dr Basant Digambar Agasse Seva Sansthan, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is serving the COVID-19 affected patients and their families with required food and medicines. "Amidst the second wave of COVID-19, Sangh workers are working to deliver food to the affected families to their homes", the statement read.

It is in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh's area that a team of 100 volunteers is engaged in the service of the patients and their families all times. As reported, the WhatsApp number of four prominent workers has been issued to coordinate this whole 100 workers and volunteers gather as soon as the phone rings.
 
 
"Among the volunteers, a school student is also contributing to the service of the afflicted family of Corona. This student Tanmay of the seventh class is very happy while talking to the news wing that God has given him an opportunity to serve", the statement read.

Pradeep Prasad, one of the members said that RSS in Hazaribagh is providing four types of services including food, medicine, medical advice and more. Member Sanjay Kumar Srivastava further said that all the RSS workers were engaged in service.
 
 
The RSS workers are helping people find beds, reach hospitals and vaccination centres, especially those who are old and have no one to look after them. The RSS COVID Samiti, the Janakalyan Samiti, the Janakalyan Raktapedhi and few other organisations are serving the society today when in need. It is through these organisations that people are easily accessible to oxygen supply machines, wheelchairs, commode chairs, folding walkers, walking sticks, etc
