Amit Shah strengthens morale of the country to fight back Naxalism

Raipur, Apr 5: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Apr 5 during his visit to Chhattisgarh and after a high level meeting regarding the unfortunate incident, that the Centre, along with the Chhattisgarh state govt, is determined to take the fight against Naxalism to a logical conclusion. The Minister's meeting was scheduled to be held with a top officials like the Intelligence Bureau Director, Central Reserve Police Force Director General and Director General of Police Chhattisgarh in Jagdalpur.

Amit Shah's visit began with him and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel laying wreaths on the coffins of 14 security personnel killed in the Bijapur Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh's Jagdalpur. The Union Home Minister said after holding a meeting with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and senior officers of security forces in Jagdalpur, "The Centre, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is determined to take our fight against Naxalism, by working in tandem with the state government, to its logical conclusion."

He further added that in the past few years, the fight against Naxalism has reached a decisive turn and this unfortunate incident has taken this fight two steps forward. Amit Shah assured that the nation will not let up in its battle against Left Wing Extremism and the attack will only add to the commitment of the security forces.
 
 
 

 
The Minister stressed that the cause of the attack is the increasing implementation of development plans in the interiors and remote villages that is creating obstacles for the smooth functioning of Naxalite operations. Amit Shah said, "I want to assure the countrymen that the battle will be intensified and we will win it in the end. We have successfully set up camps in interior areas in the last few years, which has annoyed Naxals resulting in such type of incidents."
