'India will shape big debates of our times': EAM Jaishankar holds strategy session with India's UN team

New Delhi, May 25: After arriving in the US, External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar met India's Permanent Representative to United Nations TS Tirumurti. He also held a productive strategy session with TS Tirumurti and other officials and diplomats from India to the United Nations. During the meeting, he expressed confidence that India will continue to shape the big debates of our times.

Jaishankar took the social media and share news about this meeting. "A productive strategy session with @ambtstirumurti and our UN team in New York @IndiaUNNewYork. Confident that India will continue to shape the big debates of our times," EAM Jaishankar tweeted.
 
 
 
Moreover, Jaishankar is going to meet the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres today at 10 am Eastern Time (ET).
 
EAM Jaishankar is on a five-day visit to the US during which he will meet his counterpart State Antony Blinken to enhance the COVID vaccination corporating between the two countries. They will hold discussions on various issues, including COVID-19 efforts and strengthening of Indo-Pacific cooperation through the Quad.

US State Department spokesperson, "The Secretary looks forward to meeting Minister Jaishankar during his visit, and to discussing a broad range of issues, including COVID-19 relief, efforts to strengthen Indo-Pacific cooperation through the Quad, enhanced UN and multilateral cooperation, and a range of other shared regional security and economic priorities."

Apart from Blinken, he will also meet Cabinet members and Senior Officials of the Administration dealing with the bilateral relationship. Jaishankar will also have two interactions with business forums on economic and COVID-related cooperation between India and the US.
