Never-ending trouble for Kundra! Another case lodged against 4 producers of Raj Kundra's company

Mumbai, July 28: The trouble keeps continuing in for businessman Raj Kundra as Mumbai Police has lodged a case against 3-4 producers of his company in connection with the adult film racket.

Apart from the producers of his company, actress Gehana Vasisth, who had been arrested in February, has also been named as one of the accused in the case. She is currently out on bail.
 
Police filed another complaint after another actress alleged that she was forced to shoot porn for Raj Kundra’s 'HotShots' app. Reportedly, an FIR has been registered under IPC sections 392,393,420 and 34. IT Act 66 and 67 are also applied along with sections 3,4,6,7 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986. The case will now be transferred to the Property Cell to investigate.
 
 
 
It should be noted that since the adult racket has busted by the police, several victims were coming forward to record their statements in the case.
 
Mumbai Police had arrested Raj on July 19 in the adult films case. The Mumbai Police found the businessman to be the "key conspirator". Police have booked the businessman under Indian Penal Code Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays), and relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
 
 
Yesterday Magistrate court remanded Kundra in judicial custody for 14 days. Following which Kundra’s lawyers moved a bail plea on grounds including that there was no evidence against him in the case. The court will hear the bail plea Wednesday
 
 
 
When the court asked Kundra about the adult's films, Kundra in his defense said that the films made by him, which the police claimed to be pornographic, did not depict direct or explicit sexual acts.
 
A police official informed, that the Mumbai crime branch has also appointed forensic auditors to look into the financial transactions and bank accounts of businessman Raj Kundra. According to the police, Raj has earned at least Rs 1.17 crore between August and December last year from a adult films. Police have also frozen the accounts of the Raj Kundra following the probe.
 
 
 
The matter came to light in February, when a woman approached Mumbai Police and accused Kundra of luring young men and women on the pretext of offering roles in web series and allegedly forcing them to make porn films instead.
