Kabul, Sept 3: Terrorist organization Taliban after taking over the territory of Afghanistan last month, took the stance that it won't intervene in the Kashmir matter as it's an internal and bilateral issue. But as unpredictable as the Taliban is, it's not surprising that they have started their course of action on the Kashmir issue.

In an interview given to BBC Urdu, Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen said, "We have this right, being Muslims, to raise our voice for Muslims in Kashmir, India, and any other country." he further added that," We will raise our voice and say that Muslims are your own people, your own citizens. They are entitled to equal rights under your laws," according to Geo News.

However, the recent remarks by the Taliban spokesperson contradict the Taliban's own remarks that they won't intervene in the Indian internal matter of Kashmir. Arindam Bagchi, from the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday said that India will ensure that Afghanistan land is not used to propagate any ill intentions of any terrorist organization against India.

Recently India had its first official acknowledgeable contact with a senior Taliban leader, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai by the Indian ambassador to Qatar, Deepak Mittal. In the meeting, India expressed its concerns about Afghanistani soil being used against India in any manner.

India is more concerned about Afghanistan being a haven for all types of terrorist organizations like ISIS and AL-Qaeda which in past tried to take over land for similar purposes. "There will be increased security vigil in Kashmir but things are in control and Pakistan-based groups in Afghanistan have little capacity to use the situation," government sources while talking to ANI.

While in an interview at a television news debate, PTI leader Neelam Irshad Sheikh said, "Taliban have said that they are with us and they will help us in [liberating] Kashmir. The person speaking is a leader of Pakistan's ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf (PTI). Taliban-ISI strong bonds are already known to the world and it's speculating enough that ISI will ask for the Taliban’s favour in the Kashmir issue. It's not a matter of 'IF', it's just a matter of ‘WHEN’.
