Ahead of Guj election, Ravindra Jadeja campaigns for his wife Rivaba, urges people to vote for her

Jamnagar, November 14: Days after the Bhartiya Janata Party gave a ticket to the Indian Cricket team all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja's wife, Rivaba to contest the Gujarat elections from the Jamnagar, now the left-handed batsman on Sunday (November 14) has asked the people of Jamnagar to vote for Rivaba in the upcoming state election.
 
Posting a video on social media, Jadeja has urged all the Jamnagar voters and cricket fans to vote for his wife, and make her win the seat.

In a video message, Jadeja was seen wearing a brown kurta and was heard stating, "My dear Jamnagar residents and all cricket fans. As you all know that here Gujarat assembly elections are progressing fast like T20 cricket. BJP has made my wife Rivaba a candidate. She is going to file nomination papers on 14 November. So it is your responsibility to create an atmosphere of victory. So let's meet tomorrow morning."
 
 
Moreover, Jadeja also attended an event in Jamnagar with his wife Rivaba Jadeja as she paraded to file nomination for the upcoming Gujarat elections.
 
For unreserved, Rivaba was one of the 160 candidates announced by the BJP for the assembly elections in Gujarat. Of the candidates, 14 are women, 24 belong to the category of Scheduled Tribes and 13 to the Scheduled Castes. Rivaba replaces sitting MLA Dharmendrasinh Jadeja as the BJP face for the Jamnagar (North) seat, who was denied a party ticket in this election.

Earlier on Sunday, the BJP announced one more candidate for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly election. So far the party released the names of 167 candidates for the Gujarat polls. The state is set to go for the polls in two phases on December 1 and 8.
