Love or Sex Jihad?

Love and a sexual obsession (Lust) are diametrically opposed concepts. People, particularly teenagers, believe that physical attraction or sexual pleasure is pure love. This false perception has destroyed the lives of many young girls, driving them to depression, mental trauma, physical abuse, and, in some cases, suicide or being killed by a partner. The primary distinction between lust and love is that lust is purely sexual, whereas love is both passionate and compassionate. Spending most of your time with a partner being physically intimate, having little interest in their life outside of the physical body, and having a weird obsessive mentality are all signs of lust. Being emotionally vulnerable, looking forward to seeing friends and family unconditionally, and feeling secure in the relationship are all signs of love. How can it be love when "Rehan" changes his name to "Rahul," Shahbaz transforms into Shantanu, and puts a tilak on his forehead to entice the girls? Is this a method for selecting a life partner or a trap to exploit sexually and convert?

I'm not sure who coined the term "Love Jihad," When the intent is to sexually abuse and exploit young women? Is it possible to refer to it as Sex Jihad? Videos and news stories about girls subjected to extreme sexual abuse and physical and mental harassment in the name of love circulate on a regular basis. Some girls are abused, blackmailed, and divorced, while others commit suicide or are brutally murdered, as was the case of a girl with 35 pieces recently.

Love Jihad Lust Jihad Sex Jihad

Rekha Sharma, the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), warned the Kerala government in January 2020 that 'love jihad' was a "ticking time bomb" that would "explode" unless the Kerala government took action. She claimed that both Hindu and Christian women were victims. "I conducted a thorough investigation into forceful conversion, love jihad, and women fleeing the country," Sharma told the news agency ANI on January 27, 2020. "It ('love jihad') is taking place in Kerala." "Women are forcibly taken to different countries in the name of love jihad and used as a sex object," Sharma added. Marrying someone of a different religion is not a problem, but forcing them to convert is."

The Church claimed that 'love jihad' was part of the Islamic State's (IS) larger plan to "threaten Kerala's religious and social harmony." On January 19, 2020, senior clergy raised the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This came just days after the Syro-Malabar Church filed a complaint with the National Commission for Minorities on 14 January 2020, drawing a parallel between love jihad and the Islamic State's execution of Christian captives in Nigeria on 26 December 2019.

Even after witnessing the most heinous and horrifying acts against girls, many media outlets, political parties, and social organisations see this as a plot against the minority community. It is the responsibility of humanitarian organisations and governments to disseminate information about interfaith marriages, such as the number of marriages per year, the conversion rate, the number of females physically, mentally tortured or killed, and the number of females divorced. This information will be eye-opening for the entire human race. The intent to sweep it under the rug casts doubt on the intentions of these organisations and political leaders.

I am not opposed to interfaith marriages; however, if the intention is to convert their religion and sexually abuse the girl in order to destroy her mentally and socially, society should urge governments to enact strict laws to protect the girl from this dangerous trap. Even if the Hindu male does something wrong with the female partner in an interfaith marriage, he should be dealt strictly according to the law, and the law should be applied equally to all.

Parental, Teacher, and Societal Responsibilities:

Parents must spend quality time with their children, understand their problems, listen to their concerns, and be caring and sharing.

Notify them from time to time about incidents occurring in society in the name of Love.

The significance of family, cultural ethos, and the importance of career focus

Teach them about all religious and social practises, such as Hindu marriage and family systems, various Hindu rituals, Islamic marriage systems, polygamy, Halala, Muttah Nikah, Triple Talaq, Christian marriage systems, divorce practises, and so on.

Let them be aware of the new culture of "live in relationships," which is also causing more harm, particularly to majority of girls, by affecting their career goals, precious future life, and the feeling of being physically used, which causes them to become depressed, habitual drug abusers, disconnected from society, and another trap for love Jihad.

The goal is not to incite hatred for any religion, but rather to highlight the harsh reality that our sisters and daughters face. If one follows humanity from the heart, they will see this issue as an attack on humanity rather than any religion.
