'Bhim-Meem Bhai Bhai', The Reality or Honeytrap for Dalits? Muslim girl with help of 'Jihadi Ecosystem' traps Dalit boy & extorts Rs. 11 lakh

Acting upon the British's 'Divide and Rule' theory, some "classes of society" have always tried to create a rift between Hindus and Dalits, saying that 'Bhim-Meem' are "Bhai' as both Dalits and Muslims are equally victims of the atrocities done by the Hindus. However, the incident in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district has shown that the reality is much different than what has been said. The latest case, which is related to the Love-Jihad matter, indicates that it is not Hindu, but it is "Meem Bhai" who are unleashing terror against Dalits and Hindus as well.

 

 

In this different case of "Love Jihad," a Muslim girl and her family trapped a Scheduled Caste boy belonging to the Mahar community in Sambhajinagar and physically tortured and extorted him for converting to Islam. As per the reports, the incident came to light after Deepak Sonawane (the victim) in a press conference shared how her Muslim partner and her family, with the help of "the Islamic ecosystem," trapped him and his family and forced them to convert to Islam.

 

Besides his partner Sana Farheen Shahmir's family, Deepak also revealed that AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel, District Judge Kadari, police officer, helped her partner's Muslim family.

 

 

 

While narrating his story, Deepak said that he and his partner, Sana Farheen Shahmir met during his college days. He said they were classmates at M.I.T. College since 2018 and fell in love. After some time, Sana started forcing him to embrace Islam. He said, "Sana lured me into marriage and said, 'I want to marry you, you embrace Islam, recite namaz, read the Quran". He then brought this to the notice of her parents, who assured him of talking to her.

"In March 2021, her parents, uncle, and sister called me to meet in the Gulmandi area. When I went there, they told me to park my bike there and told me that 'we all need to go somewhere. As soon as I refused, Khawaja Sayyed and Shahmir Sheikh forcibly took me to their house. They locked me in the room. Shahmir Sheikh and Khawaja Sayyed removed my clothes. Shabana Begum and Sazia Sadaf tied my hands and legs and put a cloth in my mouth, while Shahmir Shaikh urinated on my body. The video of the act was shot on the mobile of Sana and Shahmeer Shaikh as they started beating me up for converting to Islam," he added.

 

He further told that Sana and her mother then took him to the hospital lane behind the City Chowk police station and forcefully performed khatna on him and threatened to leak the videos and defame him in society. He said, ‘When I asked Sana's mother, they said they brought you here to become a Muslim. We are doing your circumcision here. If you say anything to anyone here, we will make your video viral and defame you in society. We will also kill you and your family,’ they threatened. I was very scared because my life and my family’s life were in danger, and I would be defamed if my video went viral."

 

 

Her family then began extorting him and threatening to file a complaint against him. As per Deepak, to date, he has paid a total of Rs. 11 lakhs to Sana's family. He said, "I paid her Rs 7 lakh in cash from time to time and Rs 4 lakh online. I sent a total of Rs 11 lakh, but they demanded another Rs 25 lakh from me. I refused them as I did not have money at that time."

 

 

Moreover, when after the incident Deepak started staying away from Sana, and her family lodged FIR against him in MIDC CIDCO police station under section 354 of IPC. After registering the case, Sana called me and said, ‘I told you. You didn’t listen to me. My parents have made a case against you, I will manage. During the case hearing, Deepak met Sana and her parents in the District Sessions Court where they asked him to give them 25 lakhs or accept Islam. Her father asked me, ‘Give 25 lakhs or accept Islam, and then we will withdraw the case." Meanwhile, district judge Kadari, gave the patently illegal order on Sana's side, due to which Deepak had to spend 40 days in Jail.

 

Later, Sana's family also filed another complaint against him under Section 376 of the IPC. However, the session court granted bail to Dipak Sonawane saying the allegations were fake. The victim said that the judge had to grant bail because the allegations were fake, though the sections are meant for an unbailable offence.

 

Furthermore, in September, Sana Shahmir Shaikh and Khawaja Sayyed compelled Deepak to visit the cloud campus, where they forced him to watch videos of Muslim cleric Dr Zakir Naik and offer namaz. When Deepak stood up to them, they beat him up and hurled casteist insults at him. They said, ‘You belong to the Mahar caste. The Mahar caste is a lower caste. You people are filth-eaters. You are not a Mahar, but a prostitute community’. They went down to a lower level and hurled casteist insults."

 

At this point, it should be noted that showing Zakir Naik's video is illegal in India, and the person can be arrested under the UAPA Act. During this span, Deepak many times tried to file an FIR against them, however, the local police refused to help and shockingly asked him to convert to Islam.

 

 

 

Dipak said that he wrote multiple complaints to the CP office. The CP office never took them seriously. They just received his complaint and told him every time that they will try to tell the family of his girlfriend as much as they can.

 

He revealed that AIMIM leader Imtiaz Jaleel, who won the election on the backs of those belonging to the Dalit caste, has also supported Sana's family. He said that in mid-September, MP Imtiaz Jaleel and his bodyguards locked him in the classroom hall of a coaching class, and beat him up. They also threatened him and asked him to convert to Islam; otherwise, they will kill him and his family. Moreover, they also demanded money and hurled casteist abuse at him.

 

Dipak Sonawane said in his complaint, "On 20-08-22, at 2.00 pm, the named persons forced me to sit with them in a car from near Paithan Gate and took me to "Cloud Campus" on the Satyavishnu Hospital Road, near MP Imtiaz Jaleel’s house in the Rozabagh area. There, in the presence of MP Imtiaz Jaleel, they locked me in the classroom hall of a coaching class, and his bodyguards beat me up and the named persons snatched Rs. 1,50,000 cash, a laptop and one plus company’s mobile phone from me. I was beaten up there, they threatened to kill me and demanded money, and hurled casteist abuse at me. All this has been going on for the last two years and legal action should be taken against the non-applicant."

The victim filed a written complaint against the girl Sana Farheen Shahmir Sheikh and her family members Shahmir Shamshuddin Sheikh, Khawaja Sayyed, Shabana Begum Sheikh, Sazia Sadaf Shahmir Sheikh, AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel, and his bodyguards in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, but police have yet to file any charges.

 

Following this, Deepak wrote a letter to the SC commission, which, after taking cognizance of the matter, on November 25, asked the police commissioner of Aurangabad, to submit the facts and information on the action taken on the allegations/matters to the commission within 15 days of receipt of this notice.
