New Delhi, Dec 30: With the Shraddha Walkar murder case being currently a high-profile case in the country, Sony TV’s popular crime TV series "Crime Patrol" decided to take up the heinous crime and showcase it. This came as they televised the horrifying case of Shraddha Walker’s murder by her live-in boyfriend Aftab on Friday.

However, the makers decided to twist the facts and changed the religious identities of the victim and the accused. In this episode, they portrayed the victim, Shraddha Walkar, as a Christian girl named ‘Anna Fernandes’, while her live-in boyfriend, Aftab Poonawalla, was depicted as ‘Mihir’ in the crime anthology series.

It does not stop here. They also decided to change the locations. The episode shows the duo based out of Pune, even though Aftab and Shraddha were based out of Delhi, where the former brutally killed her and later severed her body parts to be discarded at different places across the NCR region.

Aftab Poonawala was arrested by the Delhi Police for brutally murdering Shraddha Walkar and then chopping her into 35 small pieces. Aftab executed the murder on May 18 and stored her body parts in the refrigerator. He then disposed of the body pieces in Delhi’s Mehrauli forest.
