Violence continues against BJP workers! BJP party worker killed in Alappuzha district

The deceased has been identified as Sarath Chandran, a native of Varyamkode near Kumarapuram in Haripad. The murder took place at around 12.30 last night.

Kerala, Feb 17: In yet another heinous attack on the right-wing worker in communist state Kerala, some group of people attacked a BJP worker and stabbed him to death. As per the local reports, they attacked him over an argument with him during a temple festival.

The deceased has been identified as Sarath Chandran, a native of Varyamkode near Kumarapuram in Haripad. The murder took place at around 12.30 last night.
 
Police have registered a case in this matter. The police suspect that the same drug gang may have killed the BJP worker. The police said that the gang was led by a person identified as Nandu Prakash. BJP has also alleged that members of the drug mafia attacked and killed Sarath.
 
 
Police had also received several complaints against the mafia gangs. Similar incidents have been reported in Mavelikkara, Alappuzha district in the last few days. The drug mafia had stabbed two young men.
 
 
In the past few months, violence against the BJP and RSS workers has been increased in Kerala. Last November, a 26-year-old Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh worker Sanjith was hacked to death in front of his wife in Ellapully, Palakkad.
