Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim one of hijackers of IC-814 flight killed in Karachi

The video footage of the incident has been caught on CCTV Camera. Reportedly, CCTV footage showed two armed motorcyclists entered the furniture warehouse and killed Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim.

Karachi, Mar 07: Good news for India, as Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim aka Zia who was the one of prime hijackers of the IC-814 flight, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Karachi. He was one of the wanted for the IC-814 hijack and terrorist activities in Kashmir The incident took place last week.

The video footage of the incident has been caught on CCTV Camera. Reportedly, CCTV footage showed two armed motorcyclists entered the furniture warehouse and killed Mistri Zahoor Ibrahim. Top Jaish-e-Mohammad leadership, including Rauf Asgar, attended the funeral prayer for Akhund in Karachi. Asgar is the Operational Chief of JeM and brother of Jaish chief Masood Azhar. 
 
As per the reports, Zahoor was residing in Karachi by changing his identity as Zahid for many years. He was running the furniture shop in Akhtar Colony.
 
 
Mistri was one of the five hijackers who hijacked Indian Airlines Flight 814, commonly known as IC 814, on 24 December 1999 and flew to several locations before landing in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
 
The flight was traveling from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on that day. There were 176 passengers and 15 crew members on the flight.
 
The hostages were released after the three terrorists including Maulana Masood Azhar, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar, and Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh were handed over to the hijackers.
