Tirupati Devasthanam invites Andhra Governor Biswabhushan for Vigraha Pratishta in Odisha

New Delhi, May 10: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman YV Subba Reddy invited Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan to grace the occasion of Vigraha Pratishta and Maha Samprokshana ceremonies to be held at the temple of Venkateshwara Swami on May 26, newly constructed by the TTD in Bhubaneshwar in Odisha.

According to the Governor's office, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman YV Subba Reddy also visited Raj Bhavan on Monday (May 9). Subba Reddy informed Governor Harichandan that the religious ceremonies connected with the installation of the deity will commence from May 21 and the Vigraha Pratishta and Maha Samprokshana will be held on May 26 and requested the Governor to grace the occasion.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam had conducted Bhumi Poojanfor the proposed Lord Venkateshwara temple in Bhubaneshwar, in 2019. The temple construction was delayed because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Recently, based on the directions of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman YV Subba Reddy, the work was fast - tracked.
