On Wednesday, social media witnessed Bollywood-style fighting as a shocking video in which school-going girl students of a reputed Bengaluru school were seen fighting with each other on the streets outside the school premises, has gone viral on social media. According to the reports, the girls were from 'Bishop Cotton Girls’ school.
The Incident involved girls wearing the school uniform of Bishop Cotton School. In the video, the girl students can be seen violently pulling at the hairs of each other, using sticks to hit the other student. Another student was seen pulling and pushing the other girl down a flight of stairs.
The video, a good minute or so long shows the bystanders and some other students trying to intervene and stop the scuffle, which, however, continues relentlessly. The school authorities, however, have not commented on the incident at the moment.
While the reason is not known as yet and no official statement has been made, there are reports that the fight was allegedly over the boyfriend. Allegedly, a girl went out with the boyfriend of the other student.
The incident raises serious concerns over the well-being of the students involved in the fracas. Many students were left with bleeding wounds, cuts, and bruises. People have been amused and outraged in equal measures by the display of violent emotions by the girls of an elite school in Bengaluru.
