Love Jihad: Hindu woman ends her life after Azeez sexually abused and forced her to convert

Another case of the Love Jihad has come to light from Kundapura in the Udupi district of Karnataka, where a Hindu woman took her life after getting rid of abuse done by her Muslim boyfriend, Azeez, who also forced her to convert to Islam.

 

Shilpa Devadiga is the name of the victim who took her life by consuming rat poison. She died at KMC hospital in Manipal two days after consuming poison. She is a resident of Uppinakudru village near Kundapur city.

 

The family of Shilpa has lodged a complaint with the Kundapur police station alleging the role of Azeez, a resident of Koteshwar, in her suicide. As per the family of Shilpa, Shilpa and Azeez have been in a relationship for the past three years. Azeez had sexually abused her by promising to marry her. Azeez who is already married to a Muslim woman, was blackmailing Shilpa into converting to Islam by capturing obscene videos of her.

 

 

However, Shilpa took drastic steps after he refused to marry her after sexually assaulting her.

 

The police have accessed a letter written by Shilpa in which she explains the love and emotions she had for Azeez. In the letter, Shilpa said that men love only for outer looks, however, they act the drama of love only to pass the time. They do everything, and at last say I hate you, the letter said.
