The Indian Diaspora along with the Embassy of India in Norway is organizing one of the biggest cultural and integration festival in the history of Norway – Oslo Color Festival - on Saturday (May 7, 2022).
Oslo Colour Festival has been initiated to celebrate the festival of colors, to unleash the hues of joy, carefreeness, love, unity and togetherness.
The event is being organized to exhibit the rich cultural & regional diversity of India, encouraging non-Indians to connect to India through celebration of the festival of colors Holi, and celebrating Holi with the Indian community at a grand scale in Norway.
There are over 250 volunteers working day and night to ensure the huge success of the program. This would be one of a kind, biggest event dedicated to the Indo Norwegian integration.
Some of the highlights of the event include:
• Senior dignitaries of Norwegian government
• Special presence of Ambassador of India in Norway
• World-class Indo-Norwegian fusion cultural show
• Performances from various Indian States
• Performances from various Indian and Local artists
• Diverse Indian cuisine and street food festival
• Playing Holi with colors We expect around 3 000 people to join the event including local Expats and people of Indian origin.
This will be a yearly event that the Indo Norwegian community will celebrate as an onset of spring in Norway. In the next few years, the organizing team wants to ensure that they bring more and more Indian origin organizations to Norway on a common platform to display Unity and our integration in Norwegian Society.
