Bajrang Dal to hold nationwide protest against violence over remarks against Prophet: VHP

New Delhi, June 14: Strongly condemning the rising Islamic violence in India, the Hindu outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that they are going to hold a nationwide protest this week against the recent incident of violence in a part of the country over remarks against the Prophet Mohammad.

As per the press release, the Bajrangi Dal and the youth wing of VHP will take to the streets on June 16 to protest against the rising Islamic intolerance.
 
The VHP's youth wing activists will stage a sit-in in district administration headquarters across the country on Thursday. Moreover, they are also going to submit a memorandum to President Ram Nath Kovind against the recent incidents of violence in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Jammu, and Kashmir, and some other parts of the country over remarks against Prophet Muhammad.

VHP secretary general Milind Parande said that strict vigil should be ensured outside mosques from where hundreds of people allegedly came out after Friday prayers on June 3 and carried out violence on June 10.
 
 
 
"Against the growing extremist incidents by Islamic Jihadi fundamentalists in the country, the VHP's youth wing Bajrang Dal will now take to the streets," the saffron outfit's secretary-general Milind Parande said.
 
"Bajrang Dal activists will hold a sit-in across all district headquarters on Thursday against continuous attack on Hindus by the Jihadi fundamentalists and submit a memorandum to the President," he added.
 
The VHP secretary-general demanded that the people who indulged in violence should be arrested and strict action should be taken against them. Parade demanded that the administration should tighten the noose around Muslim outfits "like Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, mosques and people of jihadi mindset who are a source of food and inspiration for such rioters". The Vishwa Hindu Parishad also said that the Kanpur violence was a "well-planned conspiracy".
