Weightlifter Sanket Sargar brings first medal for India!

Biringham, July 30: In a proud moment, weightlifter Sanket Sargar has won the first silver for India in 55kg category.

 

 

Weightlifter Sanket Sargar brought home India's first medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, as he returned with a silver medal in the 55kg men's final on Saturday.

 

 

 

Earlier, Sanket Sargar lifted 135 kg in his first attempt of clean and jerk before missing his weight of 139 kg in his second and third attempt at the Men's 55kg weightligting event to continue his dominance.

 

Earlier, he had lifted 113 kg in snatch his third attempt. He is leading in the men's 55 kg weightlifting final. He had lifted 111kg and 107 kg in his second and first attempts in snatch, respectively.
