RSS to hold 3-day meet in Rajasthan from July 7, to discuss ongoing tense issues around country

This meeting is an annual affair of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological fountainhead of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), where leaders take stock of various activities, discuss current issues and plan for the year ahead.

Jhunjhunu, July: Amid the ongoing tense situation in the country, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is going to hold a three-day meeting of top RSS functionaries in Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan from July 7. As per the reports, various issues going around in the country will be on the table during the meeting.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, other top leaders, and state publicity in-charges will attend the meeting, senior Sangh functionary Sunil Ambekar said in a statement.
 
This meeting is an annual affair of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological fountainhead of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), where leaders take stock of various activities, discuss current issues and plan for the year ahead. 
 
 
The Sangh’s plans for its centenary celebrations and expanding its reach across the country are likely to come up for discussion at the meeting, Ambekar said.
 
The meeting is essential of pranth pracharaks across the country and their subordinate functionaries. The RSS divides the country into 11 kshetras (zones) and 45 pranths, and senior functionaries from across the country are expected to attend the meeting. A senior functionary said organisational affairs will be discussed in the meeting, the duties of the pranth pracharaks who are key in taking the sangh parivar's agenda to the ground and also the best practices adopted by different units. There were 105 sangh shiksha vargas (training camps) in the country this year after they were stalled for two years due to Covid-19.
