K'taka's Vastu expert Chandrashekar Guruji stabbed to death in Public view

In a very horrific incident, Karnataka-based 'Vastu Guru', Chandrashekhar Guruji, has been brutally stabbed to death in full public view in Hubbali district, on Tuesday. The incident took place around 12.20 PM inside the President Hotel. The horrifying crime has been caught on the CCTV camera.

 

 

As per the CCTV footage that has gone viral on social media, two men identified as Manjunath Marewad and Mahantesh Sirur approached Guruji. One acted as if he was trying to touch his feet to get blessings. In the meantime, the other stabbed the Vastu expert multiple times. Guruji fell from the sofa, and the duo continued to stab him. Some onlookers tried to stop them but stayed back after the duo threatened them.

 

 

 

Soon after the incident, they fled from the crime spot, but special teams tracked them down and arrested them. As per preliminary investigations, the two men had earlier fixed an appointment with the Vastu expert and planned to kill him. They stabbed him over 50 times.

 

Chandrashekhar Angadi lived in the Bagalkote district but was on a personal visit to Hubballi.

 

Reacting to the incident, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said all measures would be taken to ensure stringent punishment for the killers of Guruji. Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, he termed it a heinous and unfortunate act, noting that it has been captured in the CCTV footage

 

Home Minister Araga Jnanendra condemned the murder and said more details will emerge after the interrogation.

 

"Chandrashekhar Guruji was killed today. I condemn the murder. Police have arrested two men and the motive of the murder will be revealed after the investigation. We have appointed a DySP rank officer to probe the case.".
