Bengaluru, August 10: The Karnataka police investigating the BJP Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru's murder case, has now arrested one more accused in connection with a murder case. With this, police have arrested seven people in the case.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Kabeer. Police held him from Jattipalla House in Sullia on Tuesday. As per the Karnataka police, Abdul was part of the team that was involved in planning the murder of Praveen Nettaru.
While talking about the investigation, Superintendent of Dakshina Kannada Police, Rishikesh Sonawane said “The investigation is in progress. All the assailants have been identified by the police and a search was on for them.”
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activist Praveen Nettaru was murdered by bike-borne assailants in Karnataka's Dakshin Kannada on 26 July. On July 28, the police arrested 29-year-old Zakir of Savanoor and 27-year-old Shafiq of Bellare.
