WATCH: Enraged woman throws chappals at Partha Chatterjee

Kolkata, Aug 2: A woman threw her chappals at Partha Chatterjee. The woman threw her chappals at Chatterjee's car as he was leaving Joka ESI Hospital, where he was brought for a health check-up on Tuesday (Aug 2).

The woman named Shubhra Gharvi threw her chappals at Partha Chatterjee, as he was leaving Joka ESI Hospital. Although the shoe did not hit Partha, it did fell on his car. Chatterjee's house is in Amtala. The woman's regret was that her thrown shoe did not fall on Partha, as she said "I would have found peace if the shoe had fallen on his head."

The rage of the people of West Bengal cannot remain more shadowed with the politicians in power being known to be involved in such financially burdening scandals as the SSC Scam. The ED unearthed many disproportionate assets of Partha Chatterjee since his arrest, of which were three flats in West Bengal's Diamond City.

The arrests took place following the raids by the central probe agency in which it seized over Rs 20 crore in cash from the premises of his close associate Arpita Mukherjee. She was also arrested. Besides, the house of Paresh Adhikari, the state Education Minister, was also raided by ED along with Partha Chatterjee's in the SSC recruitment scam.
