The most awaited festival time is here. Navratri has started from today and the happiest times have begun. Navratri is celebrated in different ways, in different parts of India. Where In West Bengal you will find Pujo Pandal everywhere, and so many different colors of celebration with Sindur Khela and Dhunuchhi Nritya. In Gujraat you will find “Garbe ghume re” everywhere. Each state and city become so colorful in this entire 9 days span. Similarly in Madhya Pradesh Navratri is celebrated in different ways.

The way Ganpati is celebrated in Maharshtra, MP people celebrate Navratri. By setting up Durga Mata murti and Maa kali murti in every square, MP people love to celebrate this festival with lots of colors and festivities. While keeping a fast for the entire 9 days, people still have so much energy to perform pooja, live shows regarding Maa Durga, and place so many thanks regarding current times. Isn’t it beautiful?

1. Indore: In Indore so people have colorful personalities which reflect in their Navratri celebration. Indore has so many Garba pedals and Durga Samiti. Over 500 big and small pandals have been set up in the city as per the pandit ji. Because of a pandemic for the past 2 years, nobody could celebrate this festival with total energy and happiness, now is the time to regain that energy. And Indore is all set to do it. Knowing the foodie nature of this city, Indore has so much to offer food-wise in this festival time. Falahari chat and falahari recipes topping it all. Indoris can’t wait to enjoy all the street food while walking on the streets of Indore at night and visiting pandal after pandal. Isn’t it amazing?

Bhopal:
Bhopal is also all set for Navratri 2022. As Maa Shailputri is blessing all of us today, Bhopal is also ready to welcome Maa and her all 9 roops. This year is extremely special as after Covid Pandals are planning something special for Maa Durga. In some pandals, there will be a jhanki of 12 Jyotirling and somewhere Maa Durga will be ‘Virajmaan’ in a boat. Different jhankis are planned for Maa Durga’s welcome. The famous Bittan Market Pandal has planned the “Narmada Parikrama Theme” for this year. For which they have bought 51000 Ltr Narmada Jal from Narmadapuram. So many new themes and activities are planned by different pandals. And, the entire city looks so colorful, shiny and happy in these 9 days. Dussehra will also be celebrated in a different way here. And the entire city is excited for Ravan Dahan.

Jabalpur: Jabalpur is another city that celebrates this festival with lots and lots of Joy. Maa Tripura Sundari mandir and Baglamukhi mandir are decorated and bhakts have started visiting these temples on a daily basis. Murti making is a 100 years old tradition in Jabalpur. And there are places where all these artists gather together from 2-3 months prior to Navratri. And create beautiful Murtis of Maa Durga. Every year there are 100’s of Durga Pandal with so many different themes. Dussehra is very special in Jabalpur. On the day of Durga Visarjan, a special procession is planned, and in that procession, a special theme-based jhankis are based on the current social scenario. People come out of their houses on the evening of Dussehra only to watch this procession. Shankar Ghee Bhandar, Garhaphatak Mahakali, Latkari ka Padav Mahakali are DB Bengali Club, and Sadar are some famous Maa Durga Pandals, which Jabalpuriya people never miss visiting.

Our culture is so colorful and has so many variety festivals is the same, but is celebrated in so many different ways in the entire nation, and that is the beauty of our country.
