Great news for moviegoers! The popular cinema chain PVR INOX announced a new initiative called the "'PVR INOX Passport". This movie subscription pass will help to fund the film industry and motivate consumers to watch movies in the theatres frequently.

 

 

The PVR INOX Passport subscription will be available from today, Monday, 16 October. One should note that with the help of the pass, one can watch up to 10 movies for just Rs 699 per month. The offer will be available from Monday to Thursday, as per the official announcements.

 

 

It can be purchased for a minimum subscription period of three months. A single user can enjoy the benefits of the passport as it is a non-transferrable subscription. Along with this, one should note that the popular cinema chain has also reduced the price of food combos from Monday to Thursday.

 

Make sure to carry your Government identity proof and the subscription at the time of checking in to the cinema otherwise, you will not be allowed to enter.

 

For instance, the ticket pricing for Passport holders is capped at Rs 350, meaning one can purchase any PVR INOX ticket up to ₹350 and can only be bought on the PVR or INOX official app/web

 

In addition, users will also have to pay a convenience fee (and related taxes) over and above the ticket price.

 

"If a movie ticket costs ₹250 and ₹25 is the online booking/convenience fee, the passport holder needs to pay ONLY ₹25 (plus tax)," the FAQ states.

 

Apart from this, moviegoers should note that the PVR INOX Passport excludes premium offerings such as IMAX, Gold, LUXE and Director's Cut. The Passport is valid at all PVR & INOX cinemas across India, except the Southern states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana and cities including Chandigarh, Puducherry, Pathankot, Srinagar, Bharuch, Bhiwadi, Jorhat, Kalka, Siliguri and Colombo.
