In a dramatic turn of events during an election rally in Armoor, Nizamabad district, Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao (KTR)had a close shave as he fell from the top of a campaign vehicle.
The incident occurred while KTR was standing on the rooftop of the vehicle, campaigning alongside several other party workers.
The video footage from the rally captured the funny moment when the railing of the vehicle came undone due to the sudden application of brakes, causing KTR and others to lose their balance and fall.
However, KTR emerged with no major injuries. The minister regained his footing and continued with the rally. KTR was travelling along with Armoor BRS candidate Jeevan Reddy and Mr. Suresh Reddy. The BRS leaders were en-route to the Returning Officer’s office to file the nomination papers of Jeevan Reddy. Earlier in the day, Mr. KTR had filed his own nomination in Sircilla and then proceeded to Armoor for a road show.
Notably, voting for the 2023 Telangana electionwill be held on November 30 and results will be announced with four other states on December 3.
