Historic Moment ! PM Modi to visit Shri Krishna's birthplace Mathura, to become first PM to do so

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Shri Krishna’s birthplace Mathura i.e. Thursday 23 November 2023. He will also participate in ‘Mirabai Janmotsav’ being organised to celebrate the 525th birth anniversary of Mira — the mystic poet and devotee of Bhagwan Krishna.

He will be the first PM of the country to go there. Preparations are being made in full swing there to welcome and welcome him.
 
Actually, PM Modi will stay there for about three hours. CM Yogi will receive the Prime Minister there.It is believed that after Ayodhya and Kashi, the PM’s focus is now on Mathura. Before his visit, SPG took stock of the security arrangements there on Wednesday (November 22, 2023). For this, 4 thousand police and PAC personnel were deployed there.
 
 
 
It is noteworthy that this visit of PM is taking place at a time when the Allahabad High Court has given the green signal to the construction of the corridor of Banke Bihari temple of Yogi Adityanath in UP on Tuesday (November 21, 2023).
 
After this order, the way has now been cleared to remove the encroachment coming in the way of this corridor.According to Cabinet Minister Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan, the PM will first go to visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi. After this we will go to Braj Raj Utsav. A statement said Modi will also release a commemorative stamp and coin in honour of Mirabai and attend a cultural programme organised on the occasion. The event will also mark the initiation of year-long programmes in her memory.
 
According to Mathura DM Shailendra Kumar Singh, there is every possibility of PM visiting Banke Bihari. After the PM’s helicopter lands at the Army Helipad, he can go directly from there to visit Banke Bihari.During this visit, PM Modi will also address for about 40 minutes from the stage built at Braj Raj Utsav Railway Ground. The PM is also scheduled to watch a 5-minute documentary prepared by the administration on the 525th birth anniversary of Mirabai.
