Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded on a record-breaking reading activity took place on December 14th, 2023. This remarkable feat, organized by the National Book Trust as part of the Pune Book Festival, saw 3,066 parents reading aloud to their children, setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous reading activity

The previous record, held by China, stood at 2,884 simultaneous readers. Pune's achievement not only surpassed this mark but also created a truly magical atmosphere, etching the names of the participants in history.
