Bengaluru Pride Parade: Ashamed to Call These People Hindus

07 Dec 2023 16:52:33
On Sunday, 26th November 2023, the LGBTQ community organized a Pride March in Bengaluru. After a few days, some videos from the rally were published on social media. During the march, some of the participants were seen shouting the following – ‘Hindutva se Azadi’, ‘Manuvaad se Azadi’, and ‘Brahmanvaad se Azadi’. One could wonder about the relevance of these slogans in an LGBTQ community rally. This is the specialty of the Left/Communists. Doing irrelevant things at the wrong occasion or place.

In 2018, the Supreme Court of India decriminalized section 377 of the colonial Indian Penal Code. The organizations that opposed the judgment were - The Apostolic Alliance of Churches, the Utkal Christian Council, Trust God Ministries, and the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. These organizations are not ‘Hindutva-vadi’ organizations. Yet, these ignorant pride parade goers could not even dare to say ‘Christianity se Azadi’ or ‘Islam se Azadi’ because they know the effects of these slogans. If they raise such slogans, it will affect the funding from Church-related organizations to the LGBTQ organizations. From the Islamic point of view, these ignorants will have to face ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ threats and similar actions.

If these LGBTQ people are ashamed to be Hindus, I am ashamed to call these people Hindus. The slogan Brahmanvaad se Azadi is a hate speech against the Brahmin minority caste in India. Also, this slogan can be interpreted as a death chant against the Brahmins of India. Manuvaad se Azadi is a slogan that means freedom from Manuvaad i.e. people practicing Manusmriti, an ancient text by sage Manu. There has been no record of any governance in India which had Manusmriti as its base. There are hardly any people in India who know the contents of this book, forget being a practicing Hindu as per Manusmriti.

Observing the history of these LGBTQ pride marches in India, it has every other thing than a fight for LGBTQ rights. These pride parades are becoming a hub of rabid anti-Hindu hate speeches and sloganeering. It is just that these people are dressed like drag queens instead of skull caps and short salwars. I would prefer an open and outright hatred for Hindus on the roads of India rather than these kinds of parades where Hindu hate is showcased in a subtle manner, a Leftist specialty. By openly hating Hindus, pelting stones on Hindu processions, and illegally converting Hindus to other faiths, at least we Hindus know the enemy which hates the very existence of Hindus.

But these anti-Hindu parades are more dangerous. They seep into the systems of India by emotionally promoting their sexuality. This in any way does not mean that every LGBTQ person is anti-Hindu. If the rational and sane people from this community do not stand up to this Hindu hate, the minority amongst them would overpower these rational people and destroy the LGBTQ movement in India.
