It seems like that Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam DMK's goonda-gardi has been continuously raising in Tamil Nadu, as in the latest incident, a scoundrel DMK councillor and his assistant allegedly beaten up the Indian army soldier to the death following a dispute over washing clothes near a water tank.

 

The incident took place Wednesday (February 08) in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district.

 

As per the reports, the soldier identified as Prabhu and DMK member Chinnasamy got into a heated exchange over washing clothes near a tank in the Pochampalli area. Chinnasamy, the councillor, along with nine men then allegedly attacked Prabhu and his brother Prabhakaran that night.

 

 

 

The argument soon turned into a fight in which the soldier was severely injured. He was hospitalised after the fight. However, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, February 15.

 

 

After his death, Prabhu's brother filed a complaint again the DMK councillor complaint. Following this, the police arrested six men, including Chinnasamy’s son Rajapandi. The police have converted the case into a murder case and arrested Chinnasamy and his associates on Wednesday. They had been absconding from the police since the day of the attack.

 

 

"Chinnasamy, along with nine men, had allegedly attacked Prabhakaran and his brother Prabhu on the same evening. Based on Prabhu’s complaint, Krishnagiri police have arrested six men including Chinnasamy’s son Rajapandi," said Krishnagiri police.
